This was discussed a while back. I'm seeing this happen again.
Periodically, I'll get a message in my Yahoo bulk folder that looks
something like this:

X-Apparently-To: jon_baumgartner-/***@public.gmane.org via 68.142.200.122; Sat, 26
Feb 2005 22:46:27 -0800

syntax)

Content-Length: 0

Yosucker will download it, but won't delete it from the Yahoo account.
Worse, it keeps on downloading it. So today, after being gone from the
weekend, I found over a 100 copies of the same message waiting for me
(I have Yosucker check every 10 minutes.)

The only workaround is to delete the message by logging in to Yahoo
mail with a web browser.

I'm wondering if it has to do with the 0 content length or something.
It's definitely odd.

Yes, it has. YoSucker is not made for zero length messages. At least I
got similar effects with those.

Dirk.

Jon,

Dirk is correct. YoSucker is meant to leave any items that does not meet its
basic sanity check. If you want to disable that feature, you can edit the
sputnik.pm file and comment out this line:

$headeritmz[0] = "---" . $headeritmz[0] if ( !( $ddate || $ffrom || $tto ) );

Remember that if you upgrade to a new version, you'll have to comment out the
above line again.
